Care For Real ™ provides food, clothing, household items and referral services to the Edgewater Community. And for over 35 years we have accomplished our goal by providing food, clothing, household items to the underserved of Edgewater.

Care For Real serves the Edgewater Community, located between Foster Avenue (5200 N) and Devon Avenue (6400 N), between Lake Michigan and Ravenswood Avenue (1800 W).

 

Most of our clientele come from low-income and below-poverty level households; all are residents of Edgewater or the immediate area. We make referrals to other food pantries for residents outside of our boundary area.  We serve infants to seniors.
